The following performance horses are a selection of the horses making an impact on the Stonewall Studbook, representing six decades dedicated to breeding Stonewall Sporthorses.
Stonewall Baby Jane 1991 mare

Charlie Degas x Stonewall Dottie West by Apache Double
Full sister to the stallion Stonewall Rebel; dam of the stallion Stonewall Rascal
This mare excelled as a personal pleasure horse, trail horse, and in dressage.
Stonewall Blanche 1992 mare

Charlie Degas x Stonewall Crystal by Prince Talisheek
Full sister to Stonewall Stella; three-quarter sister to Stonewall Scarlett
An accomplished performer in combined driving, exceptionally fast and brave in the marathon. Her performance, and that of her siblings, qualified seven times for Team USA in International and World Championship competition.
Stonewall Stella 1993 mare

Full sister to Stonewall Blanche; three-quarter sister to Stonewall Scarlett
An accomplished performer in combined driving as well as a veteran of the transcontinental 2001 Horsedrawn Journey Across America (near side, pair).
Stonewall Dragonfly and Stonewall Firefly 1994 geldings

Although both geldings were registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club, they were also enrolled in the Stonewall Studbook based on their superior performance.
Both geldings excelled in combined driving, first with Michael Muir and international champions George Bowman and Tommy Fawcett (Dragonfly (lead) and Firefly (wheel). Dragonfly was campaigned through FEI level with Canadian champion driver Marsoe LaRose.
Stonewall Scarlett 1996 mare

Stonewall Rebel x Stonewall Crystal by Prince Talisheek
Three-quarter sister to Stonewall Blanche and Stonewall Stella; dam of Stonewall Fantasia, Arcadia de Bec, Magique de Bec, and Destrier de Bec
Stonewall Scarlett had a successful career in combined driving and is a veteran of the 2001 Horsedrawn Journey Across America (unicorn lead). She has had a profound influence on the Stonewall Studbook. Her bloodline carries on today with many descendants.
Stonewall Rascal 1996 stallion

Stonewall Showmaster x Stonewall Baby Jane by Charlie Degas
Foundation Sire of the American Sugarbush Harlequin Draft Horse Association and the stallion Sugarbush Harley Quinne.
Stonewall Rascal was trained to ride and drive and later excelled as a trick horse and ambassador for the growing Sugarbush family of horses (pictured here with Bron Stark).
Stonewall Domino 1997 stallion

Stonewall Rebel x Dona Francisca by Que Bravo
The Stonewall Domino line lives on today in the ASHDA studbook through his son Stonewall Maximus and several daughters. His sire line continues through his paternal half-sister Stonewall Scarlett. Stonewall Domino was trained to ride and drive and is a veteran of the 2003 Thousand Mile Journey to the Gulf.
Stonewall Kid Cody 1997 stallion

Stonewall Rebel x Imp’s Black Echo by Heza Dart
Stonewall Kid Cody, half-brother to Stonewall Jezebel.
Sire of Stonewall Starlight and Half Moon Bay.
Stonewall Kid Cody excelled in Western Performance and Cattle events with his owner/rider, Jeff Stich. Kid Cody’s daughter, Half Moon Bay, was a nationally ranked dressage performer through third level.
Double Shot of Love 2001

Stonewall Domino x Shot at Love (TB) by Turkey Shoot (Seattle Slew)
A full sister to the leopard gelding Stonewall Dynamo, this dark beauty arrived without the LP gene many of our horses are known for. A very talented jumper, Double Shot of Love was a well-known performer on the West Coast jumping circuit.
Atlantis* (Ambrosius af Asgard, Germany) 2001

Adonis af Asgard x Sissi af Asgard by Stjerneprinsen af Vejrup
Atlantis* was the first Knabstrupper stallion imported to the United States in modern times. Grandson of the legendary Apollon*, Atlantis* has had a profound influence on the Stonewall Studbook through his prolific daughter, Stonewall Fantasia. Despite his busy breeding schedule, this kind stallion excelled in dressage and over fences.
Stonewall Fandango 2009

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Stonewall Fantasia by Atlantis*
One of five outstanding full siblings, Fandango was followed by Stonewall Durango (2010), Stonewall Calypso (2011), Stonewall Samba (2012), Stonewall Minuet (2013). Followed by his half-siblings, Stonewall Tango (2015) and Stonewall Montelena (2016).
All performed well in dressage and driving, with Fandango reaching fourth level at the age of seven with Danish Grand Prix Champion rider Sandra Hansen.
Stonewall Adonis 2010

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Barclay’s Dark Eyes by Barclay’s Bold Alarm
This handsome gelding went into training with a junior rider and excelled in Hunter/Jumper Performance from coast to coast.
Stonewall Calypso 2011

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Stonewall Fantasia by Atlantis*
Stonewall Calypso is the dam of the mares Stonewall Rhapsody (2018) and Stonewall Luna (2023).
Another of the many superior performers produced by the Blue Hen mare Stonewall Fantasia. Calypso has excelled under saddle in the ring, and on the trail, as well as in harness. Today she serves as a cornerstone of our Equine-Facilitated Therapy programs at our Rush Ranch headquarters.
Stonewall Marengo 2011

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Stonewall Sugar by Shadow’s Big Chance
Exceptional to train in harness as a young horse, even leading a unicorn hitch in the Canadian Rockies. Later, put in training with Danish Grand Prix Champion Sandra Hansen, Marengo performed with distinction in dressage on the Southern California circuit.
Stonewall Samba 2012

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Stonewall Fantasia by Atlantis*
Stonewall Samba is the dam of Stonewall Montero (2018), Stonewall Raven (2022), and Stonewall Moulin Rouge (2023).
Stonewall Samba is another stellar example of the Stonewall Fantasia dam-line in the Stonewall Studbook. Beyond being a noted producer, Samba has performed admirably under saddle, in harness, and as a valued member of our Equine-Facilitated Therapy team. Stonewall Mystique 2013

Magique de Bec x Stonewall Debutante by Lone Maple Art
Magique de Bec is a full brother to our top producer, Stonewall Fantasia. Mystique’s dam is a purebred Percheron mare also recorded in the Stonewall Studbook.
Stonewall Mystique was trained to ride and drive before entering our Equine-Facilitated Therapy programs at Rush Ranch. A kind, gentle soul, she willingly performed any task asked of her.
Stonewall Minuet 2013

Apollo* (Gooitzen fan’t Wyldpaed, Netherlands) x Stonewall Fantasia by Atlantis*
Stonewall Minuet is the full sister to Stonewall Samba and Stonewall Calypso. Her full brothers are Stonewall Fandango and Stonewall Durango. Her half-brother is Stonewall Tango. Her half-sister is Stonewall Montelena (2016). Minuet is the dam of Stonewall Montezuma (2018), Stonewall Santiago (2019), Stonewall Songbird (2021), Stonewall Skylark (2022), Stonewall Ballerina (2023) and Stonewall Shenanigans (2024).

Stonewall Tango 2015

Prevailer LR x Stonewall Fantasia by Atlantis*
Stonewall Tango is the sixth foal of the great producer Stonewall Fantasia.
Sold as a foal, he was prepared from an early age to excel in the ring performing dressage. To that end he began his career on the West Coast in California and can now be seen on the prestigious South Florida circuit.
Stonewall Montelena 2016

Stonewall Montelena is the seventh noteworthy foal produced by the celebrated broodmare Stonewall Fantasia. Montelena is the dam of the exciting young stallion Stonewall Icon, exported to Austria, and the mare Stonewall Ave Blanca.
Montelena was trained to ride and drive but particularly excels in her work with Equine-Facilitated Therapy. She is a remarkably sensitive and intuitive mare that also works as a lesson horse under saddle. Durin de Fermes Boisvert 2020

Zippin Kelo x LDS Shiawasee Onyx by LDS Prince Hellacious
Bred by Mary Boisvert in Wisconsin, we acquired Durin specifically to add to our working stable of Equine-Facilitated Therapy horses. Carefully trained for this work since weaning, Durin has already proven to be a reliable, gentle and willing worker. He is curious about new people and a delight to work with in the therapeutic setting. In addition to this work, he has been fully trained to ride and drive, currently paired with Stonewall Calypso.
